This makes facebook a better CPC advertising tool for marketers.&lt;br /&gt;I have several friends who consider themselves "Facebook" addicts. They spend hours online watching information popup every few minutes. They have thousands of &amp;nbsp;"Friends" and spend most of their time hooked on their computer watching the scrolling comments and postings.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Will Google+ add to the addiction, will it convert dedicated Facebook fans? Will it be a better CPC marketing tool? That remains to be seen.&lt;br /&gt;I created a google+ fan page tonight and it looks very similar to facebook. Many Real Estate agents feel that they have kept their personal page, professional enough that they do not need to waste time on a fan/business page. A successful business, in today's day and age requires so much knowledge and keeping up with different types of marketing and lead generation. Understanding the new era of marketing like social media and video requires some exploration. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The experience I had with my business was heart breaking. Spending more time on marketing and not enough on actually doing the work was discouraging to say the least. I spent more time "testing" out the marketing techniques and seeing which ones worked than actually working.  My passion for helping people is now integrated with Real Estate even through I am still doing NLP, EFT, Hypnosis, Brainwave studies and Sound/Bio-Acoustics Therapy. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;Being new in the Real Estate business I consider myself lucky to have a husband who not only knows the area like the back of his hand but has been in the different sides of real estate business. Dealing with investors, builders, clients who are looking to build a new home and then of course the regular clients who buy and sell their new homes in Fairfax area. &lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Starting in the real estate world, we decided extra coaching might be just the right path to take. After all I am a coach and know the value of a coach who specialized in specific industries. Since I specialize more on mental programming and balancing mind/body/spirit - this coaching program is a perfect add on from someone who is coaching other real estate agents and brokers to be successful. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The great thing about the program we are part of is the expansive coverage of social media and how to integrate it into your business. I am just getting my feet wet with Facebook and Twitter and how to actually use it for lead generation. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;At the same time, I am also evaluating various different tools that are specifically tailored towards real estate agents to help them streamline their business. I have to say, there is definitely no shortage of systems and offers out there. My head is still spinning from a week of testing out different products and systems. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;The systems and products bring value only if you can streamline them. And some of these have a steep learning curve for someone who has not been in the industry. I honestly do not know how a real estate agent who doesn't have solid technical skills can survive these days. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;So today I started our venture on Facebook and attended a meeting on facebook and real estate agents and how to use it. The session was informative but I think I was a bit ahead as I had listened to the facebook training on Lynda.com which was great. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Now comes the integration of everything. I have already integrated IDX on our website as well as live chat and social media stuff. I am currently working on analyzing CRM systems and looking at various systems such as top producer, listing book, market leader and of course infusionsoft. The SEO plan we have outlined for us for the upcoming year is pretty involved and I am lucky to have partners and friends who specialize in the field to help us build our brand, team and exposure. Having a team of specialized people in our team is going to help us explode our business - and that is our manifestation for the next year. &lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div&gt;Tonight I will be creating our FAN PAGE or BUSINESS PAGE on facebook. Microsoft word would not allow my mouse to function. You could use the mouse to click on the icons but I could not highlight or right mouse click. You do not realize how much of this functionality you use until you don't have it. I was extremely frustrated as I tried to re-install the mouse drivers, reboot in the safe mode and roll back etc.  So all the frustrations ended when I finally found a simple way to get my mouse working again in word 2007!&lt;br /&gt;It seems you need to manually delete the word data registry key and restart word. By deleting the registry key, it forces the system to rebuild it on the next boot.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="color: black;"&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Note.. when you take this action, there might be other setting that are reset to default- some of those include the most recently used file information.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Here are the steps to get your mouse working in Word! &lt;br /&gt;1. Exit all Office programs.&lt;br /&gt;2. Click Start, click Run, type "regedit" - then click OK.&lt;br /&gt;3. Locate the following registry subkey, as appropriate for the version of Word that you are running:&lt;br /&gt;• Word 2002:&lt;br /&gt;HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\10.0\Word\Data&lt;br /&gt;• Word 2003:&lt;br /&gt;HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\11.0\Word\Data&lt;br /&gt;• Word 2007:&lt;br /&gt;HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Word\Data&lt;br /&gt;4. Click Data, and then click Export on the File menu.&lt;br /&gt;5. Name the file WordRegData.reg, and then save the file to the desktop.&lt;br /&gt;6. Click Delete and confirm.&lt;br /&gt;7. Amazon offers a great gateway for small businesses or inviduals to get exposed to millions of people while being associated with some of the industries best writers. Just imagine writing on a topic that comes up in the same search as a best seller or an expert in that specific market or topic? You get an incredible amount of exposure by putting your books and products on Amazon.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Amazon not only offers a way for you to get your business exposed, but it also offers a way to make your life much easier by taking care of the entire ordering process. Imagine having to track orders, print labels, package up your products and drive to the post office to mail them - on a daily basis! Amazon takes care of all this for you. They handle all the orderings and shipping processes for you! Is that worth it to you? I guess it would depend on if you enjoy doing the leg work or not.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;With Amazon, you ship your products or services to one location and you are done. Of course all this service also costs you  - they take 55% of the official price - which is the list price you originally determine. So you are basically left with only getting 45% of your listed price.&lt;br /&gt;Printing 1,000 copies of the average book costs about $3,500 to $5,000 or less than $5 per book. The cost to do this through POD-Print On Demand services, would be about three times as much. Youcan figure out the math.  Of course you also have to incur the expenses of: Creating the book, Publishing it and shipping it to Amazon.&lt;br /&gt;Here is my outline for Publishing Your Book or Products on Amazon&lt;br /&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;Understand that you are not going to be making a living on selling books on Amazon but you can brand yourself successfully which will lead  you to be able to charge more and get more famous! Remember the more famous you are the more money you will make. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Create your Book - make sure you have your book edited by a professional. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Use the hypnotic language skills we discussed and create a great Title and a Description for your book so you can use it as an attraction factor. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Check with &lt;a href="http://www.isbndb.com/"&gt;www.isbndb.com&lt;/a&gt; to make sure your title is not already registered.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Make sure you pay special attention to the 3 key areas ; The front cover, rear cover and table of contents. These are the major attraction factors when it comes to attracting your niche market. Focus on using images and wording that hit your target market directly. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Take your time and write the "publisher's comments"&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Make sure you order a proof of you book before you publish hundreds of copies. It is always better to be safe in case there are some print or publishing errors&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Get a ISBN number for your book or a UPC for a CD or DVD.  Get a bar code based one which may cost you a bit more money Where do you get it? Costs: One Book = $125, one CD, $55,  one DVD, $89 &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Get them Printed &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Sign up with Amazon if you have not already done so. ($30/yr).&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ship to Amazon - Send two copies of the book to Amazon.com. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Make sure you follow all the required steps to send over the scans and registrations so  that the book can be made available on the "search inside this book" feature.&lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Next, continue on with your branding tactics; start writing well written( Hire a writer if needed) reviews on similar subject books and make sure to add your signature and tagline such as, "Ayda B. Walsh, author, The Ultimate Success Guide." This tagline will not only  generate tremendous free publicity to your target market but will also help brand you faster than you ever dreamed of! &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Ask all your friends and others to review your book and leave comments. Send them free copies and ask them if they would provide comment on Amazon. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Use your book as an effective marketing tool by offering a free product or service for anyone who purchases your book on a certain date - this will drive your sales up and get you ranked higher on Amazon. Or you can ask people to write comments in exchange for your book. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Make sure your website links to your book(s) or Products. Ask your friends and family to link to your book. &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Now it is time for you to aggressively market your book through every makreting channel possible. Use press releases, articles, blogs, websites, and any other way that you can think of because marketing is key to branding and success&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I work with my clients on branding - we focus on Amazon as a way to brand themselves or their business. Unless you can implement some very highly strategic tactics to generate some revenue from Amazon, most of the writers utilize it for building credibility and branding themselves. &lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Utilize each marketing channel to its fullest. Get your family and friends involved in supporting you with your marketing efforts.
